We are looking for a meticulous and proficient Accountant to enhance our team. The successful applicant will be tasked with conducting financial analysis, maintaining precise accounting records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and providing strategic insights that inform key business decisions.

Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with established policies. Develops and implements strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within the assigned department or function. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and drive sustainable growth. Maintains a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes while adhering to budgetary constraints and resource allocations.

Compile and evaluate financial performance reports assessing organizational fiscal health, ensuring accuracy and strategic insights for informed decision-making.

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of general ledger data through consistent oversight and maintenance.

Compose, evaluate, and align intricate accounting transactions and ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records.

Assist with the development and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to ensure accurate and strategic financial management.

Partner with department heads to develop and align strategic plans for capital allocation, operational expenses, and workforce management.

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accruals while guaranteeing prompt and precise financial reporting.

Offer expert consultation on accounting standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Guarantee adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and institutional accounting standards.

Provide OPEX reporting and financial analysis to drive alignment with strategic business goals and enhance decision-making processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with agile methodologies, database management, and cloud services is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also necessary.

Seeking candidates with at least seven years of relevant professional experience in the field.

Proficient in GAAP standards and accounting principles with a deep understanding of their applications and implications.

Demonstrates a high level of expertise in utilizing Microsoft Excel’s advanced features and functions, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis tools, and macro automation.

Experienced in utilizing financial systems and generating reports through analytical tools.

Exceptional proficiency in analytical reasoning, problem resolution, and effective communication is required.

Demonstrated expertise in executing account reconciliations, managing accruals, overseeing budgeting processes, and preparing complex journal entries is essential.
