Since its establishment in Nigeria in 1960, UNDP has provided critical support to the Federal Government in strengthening institutional capacity and advancing policy development across Governance & Peace building, Inclusive Growth, and Sustainable Development.
UNDP remains actively engaged in assisting the government, particularly in finalizing the second National Implementation Plan for the National Vision 20:2020.
Through strategic partnerships with the Federal Government, development stakeholders, UN agencies, civil society, and local communities, UNDP identifies localized solutions to address national development priorities.
