Job Description

Overseeing the engineering team tasked with guaranteeing that all capital projects are technically sound and fully compliant with statutory requirements.

Identify and resolve prevalent valve issues, including leaks, mechanical malfunctions, and signs of wear.

Provide assistance with the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning processes.

Conduct evaluations to assess valve performance and verify compliance with established customer specifications, providing critical support in maintaining quality standards.

Help perform routine testing of valves such as leak testing, pressure testing and flow testing.

Provide support in the upkeep and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.

Skilled in utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB proficiently.

Proper understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, ideally holding a degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Additionally, experience in project management and a track record of meeting deadlines are required. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards is a must, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies is expected.

A Bachelor of Science degree, or its equivalent, in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.

With a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management specifically within the oil and gas sector, the ideal candidate will bring a proven track record to this role.
