To ensure effective oversight, the role reports directly to the Head of Finance, who will provide guidance and direction for all financial activities and strategic initiatives.

We are offering a yearly compensation of ₦1,500,000 for this position.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing project management, team coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure operational excellence and adherence to established goals. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and foster innovation within the team. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and align expectations. Conduct regular evaluations to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards at all times. Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce. Manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenditures to optimize financial performance.

Ensure precise reporting and adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, encompassing consolidated financial statements.

Offer corporate finance assistance in investment initiatives and their assessment to ensure strategic alignment and value creation.

Accurate development and precise projection of the group’s financial plans are essential responsibilities. This role requires meticulous attention to detail in managing and anticipating the group’s financial performance. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data are crucial for ensuring reliable budgeting and forecasting processes.

A precise financial model and cash waterfall analysis are essential to facilitate the finance team’s requests regarding any group investment.

Oversee the timely execution of tax audits, monthly compliance filings, and strategic tax planning initiatives across the organization.

Requirement

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, along with qualifications such as ICAN, ARCA, CIA, or CFA, or in a closely related discipline, is required.

A minimum of eight to ten years of practical accounting experience is required.

Reporting skills, financial modelling expertise, consolidation accounting proficiency, tax management capabilities, IFRS standards compliance, tax law knowledge, and corporate finance skills are essential for this role.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in relevant software applications and industry-specific tools is essential, along with a solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a related field is mandatory, complemented by a track record of delivering measurable results. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements is highly desirable, as is the ability to adapt to evolving organizational needs and technological advancements.

Analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.

Develop precise financial models and conduct thorough project evaluations to assess viability, profitability, and risk.

Prepared and finalized the audited consolidated financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries.

Supporting financing needs with accurate, up-to-date management accounts delivered in a timely manner.

Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing complex situations and formulating effective solutions. Capability to evaluate multiple options and select optimal courses of action based on critical assessment and strategic insight.

Accurate and timely submission of tax filings and audits ensures complete adherence to regulations, eliminating the risk of penalties for non-compliance.
