As an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher, you will cultivate students’ digital literacy and technical competencies through structured lesson planning and dynamic instruction. You will design and implement engaging curricula, oversee the efficient operation of computer labs, and evaluate student performance to track progress. Furthermore, you will maintain the functionality of all software and hardware systems and advocate for responsible and secure internet usage among students.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing a broad spectrum of critical functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance across designated areas of responsibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster cohesive working relationships, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain rigorous adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth. Prepare and present detailed reports, analyses, and actionable insights to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. Act as a key liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and coordination to achieve collective goals and deliver measurable results. Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budgets, and technological tools, to optimize outcomes and support long-term strategic plans.
Curriculum Delivery: Design, organize, and instruct dynamic ICT lessons aligned with educational standards while addressing varied learning preferences to ensure inclusive and effective teaching.
Essential digital literacy training will be provided, covering the use of office suites—including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace—along with internet safety best practices and introductory programming skills, such as Python and Scratch.
Develop assignments, quizzes, and practical tests to assess student progress; deliver constructive feedback that fosters ongoing improvement.
Overseeing the school’s computer laboratories involves managing all hardware components, including computers, projectors, and peripherals, to ensure they remain fully functional, secure, and properly maintained.
Serve as a mentor to students, providing guidance on ICT career pathways and offering support to resolve technical challenges encountered during class projects.
