We are looking for a skilled and proactive Property Manager to administer the Company’s property portfolio and foster productive relationships between landlords, property owners, and tenants.

The successful candidate must possess a law degree, be admitted to practice, and demonstrate substantial expertise in property management. Additionally, they should exhibit proficiency in handling tenancy disputes, addressing property-related legal matters, and fostering productive relationships with stakeholders.

Oversee a range of critical duties central to the role, including the development and execution of strategic plans, management of cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Account for the monitoring and evaluation of performance metrics to drive continuous improvement, alongside the identification and mitigation of potential risks to uphold operational integrity. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to refine processes, allocate resources efficiently, and support decision-making that advances business goals. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering communication and synergy to enhance productivity and innovation while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

You will be responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants, serving as the authorized representative of property owners in the oversight and management of assigned properties.

Leverage effective property marketing strategies, referral networks, and approved channels to identify and secure qualified tenants for occupancy.

Perform comprehensive tenant screening, validate guarantor credentials, and assess referral profiles to ensure reliability and suitability of prospective tenants.

Draft, assess, and oversee tenancy agreements, lease contracts, and all associated property-related legal paperwork with precision and compliance.

Evaluate legal matters concerning properties and projects, offering counsel to minimize potential legal exposures.

Ensure adherence to all relevant property laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Collaborate with facility managers and external service providers to guarantee the upkeep and proper maintenance of managed properties.

Handle tenant complaints and disputes with urgency and professionalism, ensuring swift resolution to maintain satisfaction and trust.

Perform regular assessments of both occupied and vacant properties to ensure compliance with established standards and identify any necessary maintenance or safety concerns.

Formulate, implement, and uphold comprehensive occupancy policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Compile regular reports detailing property performance metrics, tenancy status updates, occupancy levels, and departmental activities.

Submit periodic reports to management detailing the status of all properties overseen by the company.

Work collaboratively with various departments to facilitate seamless service delivery and drive the attainment of organizational objectives.

Requirements

An LL.B degree is required, along with qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL).

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three to five years of direct experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or Property Law.

A strong understanding of tenancy regulations, lease management, and property-related documentation is required.

Exceptional abilities in negotiating, conveying information clearly, and effectively managing stakeholder relationships are essential.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and insightful reports, along with a keen aptitude for data analysis and interpretation.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

Proven capability to efficiently handle various tasks simultaneously while exercising sound judgment with limited oversight, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned responsibilities.
