Job Summary
We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team. The successful candidate must be prepared to work on a rotational shift schedule, with two physicians alternating in either a day-and-night rotation or a one-week-on, one-week-off arrangement.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight to ensure organizational objectives are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports to assess progress and identify areas for enhancement. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth. Serve as a liaison between senior management and operational teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment with company goals.
Conduct thorough outpatient consultations, oversee antenatal and fertility clinics, and deliver expert-level care for obstetric and gynecological patients.
Surgical Procedures: Conduct obstetric and gynecological surgeries—including Caesarean sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological operations—either independently or in a supportive capacity.
Oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
We deliver round-the-clock on-site medical assistance during designated shifts and respond to obstetric emergencies with accuracy and urgency.
Achieve administrative excellence by ensuring the precision of medical records, engaging in clinical audits, and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Responding to patients’ medical concerns involves evaluating their medical history, performing comprehensive assessments, administering appropriate treatments, providing professional counseling when needed, and coordinating referrals to specialists as necessary.
Responsibilities include ordering necessary laboratory tests and analyzing their results to support accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Ensuring strict confidentiality and maintaining an unbiased approach in all situations.
Collecting, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data, including examination outcomes, medical records, and clinical reports.
We deliver comprehensive care by attending to childbirth, performing necessary surgical procedures, and conducting routine ward rounds to monitor patient progress.
We educate patients regarding treatment protocols or prescribed interventions to ensure full understanding and adherence.
You will collaborate with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to enhance patient care outcomes.
Facilitating collaborative health education initiatives alongside interdisciplinary health professionals ensures comprehensive wellness promotion.
Consistently achieving the hospital-established benchmarks for patient satisfaction outcomes.
Engaging in thorough assessments and dialogues with pharmaceutical representatives regarding novel pharmaceutical products.
Staying informed on the latest advancements in medical research, therapeutic approaches, and pharmaceutical treatments.
You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of trainee doctors, nurses, and medical students, ensuring they meet established standards and competencies in their respective roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, with at least two years in a leadership or mentorship role preferred. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, and JavaScript, is essential. Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps is crucial. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a must. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code is highly desirable.
Hold an accredited Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and possession of a valid practicing license are required for this position.
A minimum of demonstrated experience or strong enthusiasm for Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
