Job Summary:

The State Clinical Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for all medical operations across AHF-Nigeria supported facilities within the designated state and surrounding regions. This role encompasses the supervision of comprehensive care sites and satellite locations, with a focus on strategic service expansion to meet community needs. Additionally, the position ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, standardized medical care to every patient served.

Executes a range of critical duties and fulfills key responsibilities integral to the role. These include performing essential tasks that drive operational efficiency and support organizational objectives. The position demands adherence to established procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. As a manager, you will supervise medical and AHF operations within the State, collaborating closely with the Country Program Manager to ensure the seamless and high-quality delivery of clinical services across the state or region.

The individual will spearhead the growth of the AHF Program across the state, overseeing its strategic development and implementation to ensure successful expansion and impact.

Deliver technical assistance to the Prevention and Treatment program, establishing and sustaining robust patient linkage and service integration processes to effectively connect outreach activities with treatment and care initiatives.

Participates in critical technical partner meetings, subsequently relaying insights and recommendations to management via the Country Program Manager.

Ensures the execution of Comes across all locations and actively contributes to the coordination of CME sessions.

Conducts evaluations of staff requirements and facilitates the onboarding process for new hires.

They are actively involved in establishing performance benchmarks, conducting staff evaluations, addressing employee misconduct, and resolving any complaints raised by team members under their supervision.

Clinical duties encompass the provision of patient-centered care, including conducting comprehensive medical evaluations, formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring therapeutic progress. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records, and adhering to established clinical protocols and safety standards. Additionally, the role requires staying current with medical advancements, participating in continuing education initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines in all clinical practice activities.

To uphold consistent clinical service quality across all AHF-supported sites within their designated region.

Compose periodic, detailed support supervision reports in accordance with the standardized tools and frameworks established by AHF.

Establishes and drives the adoption of standardized operating procedures across all operations to uphold rigorous clinical practice standards, while ensuring the formation and effective operation of Quality Improvement teams at every site level.

Supervise quality management initiatives and establish quality benchmarks, ensuring adherence to standards through rigorous monitoring. Facilitate quality assurance and improvement sessions to drive continuous enhancements and maintain high performance standards.

Enhance tuberculosis/HIV, prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), and antiretroviral therapy (ART) services by delivering integrated, high-quality care within the state program.

Ensures the efficient and effective functioning of laboratory services, with a focus on maintaining seamless sample referral networks across regional areas.

Deliver in-person technical assistance and coaching to on-site field personnel while overseeing the project’s monitoring and evaluation framework.

Ensures optimal patient flow across all facilities, with particular attention to high-volume sites, and facilitates time-motion studies to assess operational performance.

Responsible for ensuring the prompt gathering, organization, and dissemination of both standard and specialized data to inform strategic decisions at the site, regional, and country program levels.

Attend and actively participate in management meetings to discuss strategic initiatives, operational updates, and key performance indicators. Collaborate with senior leadership to align on company goals, address challenges, and evaluate progress toward established objectives. Contribute insights and recommendations based on data analysis, market trends, and team feedback to inform decision-making. Ensure clear communication of action items, responsibilities, and follow-up requirements to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Two or more years of relevant work experience in software development, IT operations, or a comparable technical role is necessary.
