Job Summary:

The State Clinical Coordinator provides oversight for all medical operations across AHF-Nigeria-supported facilities throughout the designated State and region, including comprehensive sites and outposts. This role ensures the expansion of healthcare services within the State while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities and Core Duties Include:

Overseeing critical operational functions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and standards. Managing day-to-day activities to maintain efficiency and productivity across assigned teams. As a manager, the incumbent will supervise medical and AHF operations across the state, collaborating closely with the Country Program Manager to ensure the seamless and high-caliber delivery of clinical services in the designated region.

The individual will spearhead the strategic growth and scalability of the AHF Program across the state.

Deliver technical assistance to the Prevention and Treatment program, establishing and maintaining robust patient linkage and service integration processes to effectively connect outreach activities with treatment and care services.

Participates in critical meetings with technical partners and relays actionable feedback to management via the Country Program Manager.

Ensures the execution of Continuing Medical Education activities across all designated locations and actively contributes to the coordination and delivery of these sessions.

Conducts evaluations of staff requirements and facilitates the onboarding process for new employees.

The individual collaborates on establishing performance benchmarks and conducting staff evaluations, while also handling disciplinary actions and resolving employee grievances within their team.

The position involves delivering direct patient care, conducting thorough medical assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with established clinical protocols. Essential requirements include maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. Ensure that all AHF-supported sites within the designated region consistently uphold the established standards of clinical service quality.

Prepare periodic, detailed support supervision reports in strict accordance with the established tools and guidelines provided by AHF.

Promotes the establishment and adherence to standardized operating procedures across all activities governed by good clinical practice, while ensuring the presence of effective Quality Improvement (QI) teams at the site level.

Oversee and execute quality management initiatives while establishing and monitoring quality benchmarks. Facilitate quality assurance and continuous improvement sessions to drive excellence and operational efficiency.

Enhance the delivery of TB/HIV, PMTCT, and ART services by implementing integrated, high-quality approaches within the state program.

Deliver hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to field personnel on-site while overseeing the monitoring and evaluation activities of the project.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least five years of professional experience in software development.
