Job Summary:

The State Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all medical operations across AHF-Nigeria-supported facilities within the designated State, encompassing both primary sites and outreach locations. Additionally, the role involves strategically expanding healthcare services throughout the State and region while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient care.

Oversee and execute key duties and responsibilities essential to the role, including managing daily operations and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Perform tasks with precision and accountability, maintaining high standards of efficiency and effectiveness in all assigned responsibilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive productivity and innovation while adhering to established policies and procedures. As a manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing oversight of medical and AHF operations within the state and collaborates with the Country Program Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality clinical services throughout the region.

The individual will spearhead the growth of the AHF Program across the state.

Deliver technical assistance to the Prevention and Treatment program while establishing and maintaining effective processes to connect outreach initiatives with treatment and care services, ensuring seamless patient linkages and integrated service delivery.

Participates in crucial technical partners meetings and communicates constructive feedback to management via the Country Program Manager.

Ensures the seamless execution of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs across all designated locations and actively contributes to the coordination and delivery of CME sessions.

The incumbent conducts thorough staff need assessments and facilitates the seamless induction of newly hired personnel.

The incumbent is responsible for establishing performance benchmarks and conducting staff evaluations, as well as addressing disciplinary matters and employee grievances within their team.

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnose patient conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans in line with evidence-based practices. Deliver high-quality care to individuals across diverse age groups, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient management, including consultations, referrals, and follow-up evaluations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient progress, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with documentation requirements. Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in clinical medicine and incorporate new techniques into practice.

Ensures the maintenance of uniformly high-quality clinical services across all AHF-supported facilities within their designated region.

The Managerial Conference convenes to align leadership strategies, evaluate organizational performance, and chart future directives. Participants include senior executives, department heads, and key stakeholders, ensuring cohesive decision-making across all levels. Agenda items encompass budgetary reviews, operational efficiencies, and strategic growth initiatives. Attendees are expected to contribute insights, provide progress reports, and collaborate on solutions to enhance productivity and profitability. Active participation and preparation of relevant documentation are mandatory for all invitees.

Facilitate collaborative sessions with technical partners and key stakeholders to align on strategic objectives, project milestones, and shared priorities. Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and leadership to convey insights, facilitate decision-making, and promote cross-functional collaboration.
