Job Summary

We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team on a shift basis. The role requires two physicians who can accommodate either alternating day and night shifts or a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule.

Oversee and execute key operational tasks to ensure seamless workflow efficiency, including managing daily activities, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high productivity standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize processes, enhance performance, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Monitor progress through regular evaluations, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align goals, foster innovation, and achieve organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while upholding accountability for results. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

Clinical Care encompasses the delivery of thorough outpatient consultations, oversight of antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and expert management of obstetric and gynecological patient cases.

Independently conduct or support a wide range of obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean Sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological operations.

Patient Management responsibilities include overseeing daily ward rounds, coordinating pre- and post-operative care, and guaranteeing the provision of high-quality, patient-focused services.

Provide round-the-clock on-site medical assistance during assigned shifts, addressing obstetric emergencies promptly and accurately.

Demonstrate administrative proficiency by ensuring precise management of medical records, engaging in clinical audits, and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Addressing patients’ medical concerns involves reviewing their medical history, performing diagnostic evaluations, administering treatments, providing counseling, and making referrals when appropriate.

Responsibilities include ordering laboratory tests and analyzing their results to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Ensuring strict confidentiality and complete impartiality in all professional interactions and decisions is essential.

Responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and securely retaining confidential patient data, such as examination outcomes, medical histories, and clinical reports.

Deliver babies and perform surgical procedures for patients as needed, while also conducting routine clinical ward rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care and monitoring.

The professional is responsible for clearly communicating medical procedures and prescribed treatments to patients, ensuring they fully understand each step involved.

Engaging with healthcare providers, including community practitioners and hospital staff, to facilitate collaborative efforts and ensure comprehensive patient care.

Delivering health education initiatives in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams enhances overall wellness outcomes.

Achieving the predefined patient satisfaction benchmarks established by the hospital is required.

Engaging in thorough discussions and assessments of novel pharmaceutical products alongside pharmaceutical representatives to ensure comprehensive understanding and informed decision-making.

Maintaining current knowledge of advancements in medical treatments, therapies, and medications is essential.

The performance of trainee doctors, nurses, and medical students is monitored and evaluated on an ongoing basis.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, is essential. A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, system architecture, or a closely related area is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++ is necessary, along with expertise in designing and implementing scalable solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time are also required. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized accredited institution.

Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and possession of an active practicing license are mandatory requirements for this position.

Mandatory prerequisites include demonstrated expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
