Job Description and Responsibilities

Supervise a team consisting of Forest Guardians and Data Technicians in Loki.

Oversee on-site alternative livelihood teams operating in the field.

Conduct field surveys under expert supervision, meticulously collecting and recording data to ensure accuracy and reliability in the study’s findings.

Gather comprehensive data pertaining to monitoring and evaluation initiatives to assess performance, progress, and outcomes effectively.

We lead initiatives to foster community involvement and deliver educational programs, ensuring meaningful connections and knowledge-sharing opportunities for all participants.

Reports directly to the designated manager or supervisor within the organizational hierarchy and serves as a key liaison between team members and leadership, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.

Program Management professionals execute a wide array of duties centered on planning, directing, and overseeing initiatives to guarantee they meet strategic objectives within budget, schedule, and scope constraints. These roles necessitate robust leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multifaceted projects while coordinating cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and exhibit excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is typically required, along with several years of hands-on experience in program or project management, preferably in a related industry. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as Agile or Six Sigma, is often expected, and certifications like PMP or CAP may be advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software are essential. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are also necessary, as is the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field is required for this position.

Demonstrates mastery of business English conventions, including accurate punctuation, spelling, and grammar.

Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of guiding and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

A fast learner with the ability to rapidly acquire and adapt to new skills.

Individuals applying for this position must reside within Cross River State and demonstrate a willingness to dedicate significant time to fieldwork, including assignments in AFI Mountain and Cross River National Park.
