This full-time, on-site position for a Factory Supervisor/Saline Expert is located in Lagos. Responsibilities include managing daily factory operations for paper packaging production, directing production lines, overseeing workflow efficiency, and upholding strict safety and hygiene protocols.
The Factory Supervisor/Saline Expert will oversee saline and die-cut layout operations, refine machine configurations, and collaborate with design and production teams to deliver precise and efficient packaging solutions.
The role involves organizing and coordinating production schedules, overseeing material consumption, reducing waste, and verifying that products adhere to established quality and specification standards.
This position involves providing guidance and mentorship to production personnel, overseeing production records and reports, and partnering with maintenance and operations teams to address challenges and enhance overall operational efficiency.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is required, along with at least five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, as is familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Django. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams are critical. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms, version control systems, and Agile methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Proven expertise in Production Planning and Production Management, with the ability to strategically schedule, coordinate, and supervise all phases of manufacturing operations from start to finish.
Ensuring that finished paper packaging meets technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements requires a strong proficiency in Quality Control.
Skilled in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations, with a proven ability to enhance factory processes, minimize downtime, and boost productivity.
Proven proficiency in saline design, die-cut layouts, and converting processes specifically for paper-based packaging, complemented by hands-on experience with the associated machinery.
With a successful track record in leadership roles within manufacturing or packaging settings—ideally within the paper packaging sector or closely related fields—you bring valuable expertise to this opportunity.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, make sound decisions, and maintain exceptional organizational discipline while effectively leading and inspiring cross-functional production teams.
Proven understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial settings, coupled with a strong dedication to sustainable operational methods.
