Summary

The Security Officer is tasked with safeguarding the organization’s personnel, assets, facilities, and visitors by maintaining vigilant oversight, regulating access, preventing security incidents, and diligently upholding established security policies.

Oversee the primary duties and strategic initiatives essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and performance standards. Lead and execute projects of significance, fostering collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and innovation. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Monitor team progress, provide constructive feedback, and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating clear communication and resolving escalated issues to support seamless workflows.

Oversee and control entry to company facilities, permitting access solely to authorized personnel in designated areas.

Perform regular patrols and comprehensive security inspections to detect and mitigate potential threats to safety and security.

Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and security-related activities.

Handle security incidents, breaches, emergencies, and safety concerns with urgency and efficiency, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.

Promptly escalate any observed suspicious behavior, potential security threats, or irregular activities to senior management for immediate review and action.

Ensure strict adherence to the organization’s established security policies, procedures, and access control protocols at all times.

Support the execution of safety protocols and facilitate emergency preparedness and response efforts.

Seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a specialized field. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline, supplemented by certifications that validate expertise. Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard software or tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders. Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is highly preferred, demonstrating the capacity to drive initiatives to successful completion.

A senior secondary school certificate, such as the SSC, is required for this position.

Relevant background in a security-related position is strongly preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail is required to meticulously observe situations, coupled with the proficiency to clearly and accurately record and communicate any incidents.

A strong commitment to integrity, self-discipline, and peak physical fitness is essential to fulfill security responsibilities with excellence.
