Spearhead the creation and execution of environmental sustainability programs and strategies.
Develop and oversee climate finance strategies while maintaining adherence to international environmental standards.

Direct responsibility for evaluating and mitigating environmental risks encompasses biodiversity impacts, emission reductions, water resource management, and climate-related hazards.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of climate risks and vulnerabilities to identify potential impacts and inform strategic decision-making.
Develop and execute comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategies, encompassing the meticulous tracking of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions to ensure full compliance and measurable progress.
Conduct baseline emissions evaluations and set reduction objectives aligned with Net Zero commitments.
Proactively identify and secure climate finance opportunities, such as green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and carbon credit trading mechanisms.
Formulate carbon offset strategies and oversee engagement in both voluntary and compliance carbon markets.
Develop ESG reporting frameworks and interactive dashboards to monitor and analyze critical performance metrics.
Monitor, track, and present environmental and climate-related key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the Board-endorsed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy.
Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, financial entities, and other pertinent stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with both internal and external auditors to validate the precision and comprehensiveness of ESG reporting.
Person Specification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Climate Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a closely aligned discipline is required.
A Master’s degree is considered a valuable asset.
A minimum of eight years of professional experience in environmental sustainability, climate risk management, or carbon finance is required, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the energy sector.
Proficient in climate-related financial risks, carbon accounting methodologies, and ESG disclosure frameworks.
Seasoned expertise in securing green financing solutions, administering carbon credit portfolios, and executing comprehensive decarbonization initiatives.
Demonstrates a strong history of effectively collaborating with regulatory bodies and financial institutions on initiatives tied to sustainability.
Analytical prowess, strong communication abilities, and adept project management capabilities are essential for this role.
