Job Summary
As the Cybersecurity Expert, your primary responsibility will involve fortifying the organization’s security framework across diverse domains, including infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, access management, incident response, vendor risk evaluation, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the secure expansion of the business.
Develops and executes strategic initiatives to achieve company objectives, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals. Oversees project timelines, coordinates cross-functional teams, and allocates resources efficiently to maximize productivity. Monitors performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and implements data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Leads stakeholder meetings to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative decision-making. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Acts as a mentor to junior staff, providing guidance and support to cultivate professional growth and development within the team.
Craft and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, establish robust risk management frameworks, and deploy effective security controls throughout the organization.
Manage cloud, infrastructure, and identity security responsibilities encompass overseeing AWS environments, implementing IAM policies, enforcing multifactor authentication (MFA), governing access controls, and administering privileged access management systems.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance secure software development methodologies, implement robust vulnerability management strategies, and advance application security programs.
Oversee incident response initiatives, maintain robust security monitoring protocols, conduct thorough investigations, and develop comprehensive business continuity strategies.
Conduct vendor risk evaluations, ensure adherence to compliance standards, facilitate security audits, and lead governance programs throughout the organization.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security engineering, or application security, ideally gained within fintech, banking, payments, lending, crypto, or other regulated sectors, you are well-prepared for this role.
Proficiency in AWS security best practices is essential, with deep experience in IAM, SSO, MFA, vulnerability management, network security, encryption, API security, and incident response required.
Proficiency in deploying security controls, monitoring solutions, and secure software development methodologies within live production environments is required.
