The MEAL Officer will facilitate the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities under the EU-funded SUSAN Project in Webb State. This position will ensure the systematic collection, analysis, and reporting of high-quality data to strengthen evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the Officer will assist the Consortium Manager in coordinating with government ministries, NGOs, private sector stakeholders, and research institutions engaged in the project.

ESSENTIAL

Education

A bachelor’s degree—or equivalent—in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely aligned field is required.

Experience

A minimum of four years of practical experience in designing learning and monitoring systems, as well as executing program activities, is required, with specific familiarity in EU-funded, bilateral, or other institutional donor programs.

Proven expertise in learning, capacity development, and transfer methodologies, particularly within the context of managing donor grants or donor-funded programs.

A key responsibility involves ensuring high-quality service delivery to managers and colleagues while achieving agreed-upon results within defined timeframes, budget limitations, and quality standards.

Strong organizational and self-management abilities are required, enabling the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines with minimal oversight, adapt swiftly to shifting priorities, and maintain unwavering focus on consistent delivery and follow-through.

Possesses strong conceptual, critical, and analytical reasoning skills, adept at distilling intricate concepts into clear, engaging narratives while effectively engaging broader audiences.
