Description

The ideal candidate will facilitate the organization’s internal audit, risk management, and compliance functions by performing audits, evaluating operational processes, and verifying compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the execution of critical duties to ensure operational excellence and organizational success. Lead initiatives that align with strategic goals while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability. Perform comprehensive audits of financial records, operational processes, and compliance adherence across various departments.

Conduct a thorough assessment of existing internal controls to evaluate their effectiveness and pinpoint any deficiencies or potential risks within operational processes.

Compile detailed audit reports, including identified findings and actionable recommendations, to support informed decision-making and process improvements.

Oversee the execution of corrective measures to ensure compliance and resolution.

Verify adherence to established internal policies, relevant industry regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.

Facilitate fraud risk evaluations and conduct investigations as needed.

Candidates must meet specific qualifications to be considered for this role, including a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with a preference for advanced degrees in specialized areas. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is a strong understanding of compliance regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities are also critical for success in this position.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

Professional certification, such as ACA, ARCA, CIA, or an equivalent qualification, is advantageous.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance is required.

Proven expertise in data analysis, report generation, and issue resolution is essential.

Demonstrates strong competency in Microsoft Excel and the preparation of audit documentation.
