A leading communications technology firm specializing in messaging services—including WhatsApp, voice, and SMS, along with a bill and utility payment platform—is recruiting a QA/Software Tester. The successful applicant will uphold software excellence by executing thorough manual and automated testing to identify defects, evaluate outcomes, enhance test methodologies, document issues with precision, and champion process enhancements, all while fostering seamless coordination with development teams and key stakeholders. This position is pivotal in delivering robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions that adhere to stringent industry benchmarks.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to oversee and execute key operational tasks, including project management, team leadership, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless workflows, maintain compliance with organizational standards, and drive continuous improvement through innovation and problem-solving. Responsibilities encompass analyzing performance metrics, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering collaboration across departments to achieve company objectives. Define the boundaries of testing activities, outline the methodologies to be employed, and assess the feasibility of automation. Additionally, develop a comprehensive and efficient test strategy to ensure thorough coverage and alignment with project objectives.

Design, develop, and oversee structured test cases, scenarios, checklists, and test suites to support both manual and automated testing initiatives. Additionally, create and maintain test data to ensure precise and reliable validation throughout the testing process.

Create structured, checklist-driven scenarios designed to enhance the efficiency of test execution preparation processes.

Diligently compile, document, and track requirement-related issues in the issue log to ensure comprehensive oversight and resolution.

Responsibilities include validating products in alignment with user stories, ensuring the thorough examination of the full application—spanning from the user interface (UI) to the back end. This encompasses verifying the application’s functionality, performance, and security to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.

Maintain and enhance automated test cases and scripts, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the automation framework. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance and seamless delivery processes.

Defect Management: Responsibilities include identifying, validating, logging, and tracking defects, ensuring they are documented with clear descriptions and assigned appropriate severity levels. Additionally, the role requires analyzing issues and gaps to propose potential enhancements during testing activities.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of test strategies, test cases, results, and daily, status, and progress reports. Evaluate specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and suitability for automation.

Maintain and update automated test suites to guarantee accuracy, comprehensive coverage, and alignment with evolving product requirements.

Collaborate closely with development teams to evaluate requirements and design documentation, provide expert guidance on testing strategies and approaches, and proactively pinpoint areas of high risk or potential defects.
