Department Operations is seeking a permanent, full-time employee to join our team in Nigeria. This onsite role involves reporting directly to the Zonal Store Manager for the Lagos Zone.
What you would be expected to do
Oversee warehouse inventory operations, tracking incoming goods and maintaining accurate stock levels at the regional warehouse facility.
Collaborate with external logistics providers to ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods to Sun King retail locations.
To optimize cost efficiency for all deliveries to Sun King Stores, utilize third-party transporters engaged by the company.
Reorganize and maintain Sun King inventory records through regular scanning procedures.
Collaborate with the central warehouse at headquarters to manage and process incoming inventory shipments efficiently.
Report any discrepancies, including shortages, theft, or losses, in inventory at the regional warehouse without delay.
Compile and distribute a weekly inventory report for all regional shops, ensuring the document is readily accessible to the Country Store manager.
Conduct regular assessments of store executives within the region to verify adherence to legal obligations, thereby ensuring the preservation of both operational stability and brand reputation.
Maintain consistent shop etiquette and cleanliness standards across all retail locations within the designated region.
All faulty products received by the stores are processed and shipped back to headquarters for thorough inspection and resolution.
Conduct physical inventory counts at retail stores on a monthly or quarterly schedule.
To guarantee adherence to established procedures, Sun King Store Executives (SSE’s) must follow proper processes within their designated regions.
The regional SSE’s must be thoroughly acquainted with their responsibilities and duties to perform effectively within their designated roles.
Review the precision of weekly inventory and marketing reports for the region, then compile and forward the summarized findings to the HQ Operations team.
Train Store Sales Employees (SSE’s) as required at their respective locations to ensure consistent service standards and operational excellence.
Cover temporary absences of SSE’s due to personal or medical leave by providing support and ensuring continuity of service.
Proactively investigate and address any discrepancies in inventory levels or stock shortages at the store, including unexplained variances. In instances where theft or suspicious activity is suspected, ensure store staff complete and file official police reports as required.
