Job Summary
The Carpenter will craft, assemble, and finish luxury furniture pieces of the highest quality, adhering strictly to design specifications while maintaining uncompromising standards of precision, durability, and premium finishing.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational goals are met with precision and efficiency. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance productivity, compliance, and overall performance across all departments. Serve as the primary liaison between senior management and staff, fostering clear communication and alignment with company objectives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation, optimize workflows, and achieve sustainable growth. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines while maintaining a high level of accountability. Mentor and develop employees through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Design and fabricate custom furniture pieces in accordance with approved specifications and blueprints.
Accurately interpret technical drawings and measurements to ensure precise comprehension and application.
Craft wood and associated materials with precision, adhering to the exacting standards of luxury craftsmanship through expert cutting, shaping, and finishing techniques.
Safely and efficiently operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Proficiently affix fittings, apply veneers, laminates, and ornamental finishes with precision and attention to detail.
Perform repairs and modifications on premium-quality furniture pieces.
Responsible for the upkeep of workshop tools and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with design and production teams to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently and on schedule.
Requirements
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the carpentry field is required.
Proficiency in the luxury furniture sector is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
Proficient in various hardwood species, veneers, laminates, and advanced finishing methods.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings with precision.
