Overview
As a Trainee Accountant, you will deliver comprehensive assistance to internal teams and external clients, with a primary focus on collaborating closely with our Accounting department.
Your responsibilities will encompass supporting ongoing financial operations, including tasks such as data entry, preparation of monthly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end financial statements, and tax filings.
As a trainee Accountant, you will receive comprehensive support from the organization, including access to essential resources and specialized learning tools, to facilitate your journey toward becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Our Trainee Accountants are required to achieve full qualification as Chartered Accountants within three years of employment with our firm.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. You will be tasked with executing key initiatives, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in team leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous growth. Your contributions will directly contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the organization.
Preparing financial and management accounts for the group is among the key responsibilities, providing support in the compilation and maintenance of accurate accounting records.
Providing support in aligning client expectations with deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
Provides support in compiling and organizing documentation for personal and business tax return filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording journal entries and reconciling ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
Accurately processing client records with specialized accounting software is essential to this role.
Compile value-added tax declarations and oversee the preparation of management accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Providing support for essential administrative functions, such as coordinating client interactions, organizing documentation, managing telephone communications, and collaborating with the Accounts team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare management or a closely related discipline.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in healthcare software and information systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and compliance standards.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
