Responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on HVAC systems within control rooms, switchgear rooms, and other designated areas.
Maintain control room positive pressure systems to prevent hydrocarbon gas ingress, in accordance with IEC Ex and ALEX standards.
Maintain and repair chillers, packaged units, air handling units (Thus), and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems operating in highly corrosive saltwater environments.
Monitor drilling and production operations, providing immediate response and support as needed.
Responsible for executing installation and commissioning procedures with precision, ensuring all systems and equipment operate at optimal performance. Duties include overseeing on-site installations, conducting rigorous testing to verify functionality, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. Develop commissioning systems and execute performance evaluations prior to transferring them to operations.
Responsible for analyzing and comprehending mechanical and electrical drawings, PIDs, and HVAC schematics to ensure accurate interpretation and application in project execution.
Responsible for upholding Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements, the HSE & Compliance professional will systematically oversee workplace safety protocols, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness measures. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate workplace risks. Additionally, the position requires thorough knowledge of applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies to guarantee adherence and minimize legal exposure. Profile
Seeking professionals with a background in offshore oil and gas production, ideally with experience on Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FASO) units.
A minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration system repair is required for this role.
Candidates must possess a recognized Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent qualification, or have successfully completed an approved trade apprenticeship program, or verified technician training initiative, coupled with a minimum period of relevant practical experience.
