Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Marketing Team Leadwith a proven track record in B2B sales, business development, and client acquisitionwithin the Freight & Logistics industry.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader who is comfortable spending time in the field identifying business opportunities, engaging corporate clients, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals. Beyond personal sales performance, the successful candidate will lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the marketing/business development team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
Drive aggressive B2B client acquisition by identifying and converting new corporate customers.
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans that increase revenue and market share.
Conduct regular field visits to prospect, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients.
Follow up with dormant and former clients to reactivate business relationships.
Ensure the department consistently meets and exceeds its overall sales targets.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and implement strategies to improve productivity.
Identify new markets, business opportunities, and industry trends to support company growth.
Develop and implement marketing policies, sales initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
Track sales performance, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to Management.
Represent the company professionally during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Take full ownership of the department’s performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc.Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or marketing, preferably within the Freight & Logistics industry.
Proven ability to generate leads, prospect corporate clients, negotiate contracts, and successfully close deals.
A strong network of corporate contacts is an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing a high-performing sales or marketing team.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging sales targets.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
MBA / M.Sc. is an added advantage.
