Requirement
A secondary school education is required, with prior formal training in tailoring or fashion design being advantageous.
Experienced professionals in tailoring or dressmaking are required.
Demonstrated ability to perform both hand and machine sewing techniques with precision and efficiency is required.
Proficiency in garment construction and pattern development is required, along with a solid understanding of textile materials and sewing techniques. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software for drafting patterns and creating technical specifications is essential. The ability to interpret design sketches into functional patterns and adapt them to various garment styles is also necessary.
Proficient in operating sewing machines, cutting tools, and pressing equipment with precision and efficiency.
