Job Summary
The Depot Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in executing sales initiatives at the depot level, cultivating and sustaining robust customer connections, meeting predetermined sales quotas, and delivering consistently outstanding customer service.
This position entails uncovering new market opportunities, nurturing relationships with current clients, handling order fulfillment, and contributing to the company’s strategic expansion.
Key duties involve overseeing daily operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals, managing cross-functional teams to drive project completion, and maintaining rigorous compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, the role requires analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities include championing and distributing company offerings to clientele within the designated region, ensuring consistent growth in market share.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas to drive revenue growth and business success.
Develop and nurture robust partnerships with distributors, retailers, and in-person clientele to foster lasting business connections.
Handle customer orders with precision while guaranteeing prompt and accurate delivery to meet service standards.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely replenishment.
Proactively uncover and cultivate emerging market prospects while broadening the organization’s client portfolio.
Compile and generate sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track performance metrics and identify trends.
Collect and analyze data on rival companies, pricing strategies, and consumer demands to inform strategic decision-making.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly while consistently striving to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a proven track record of 1 to 3 years in sales, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with clarity and persuasion.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain positive client relationships.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.
Must be capable of working autonomously while consistently achieving established sales objectives.
