Craft and execute procurement strategies tailored to advance the company’s architectural, interior design, and workspace fit-out initiatives.

Sourcing, assessing, and collaborating with suppliers, contractors, and service providers are essential to guarantee the procurement of high-quality products and services.

Gather and evaluate price quotes, engage in discussions to secure favorable pricing, establish agreeable payment conditions, and finalize contract terms to optimize cost efficiency and enhance overall value.

Oversee the acquisition of furniture, fixtures, fittings, construction materials, equipment, and specialized services required for projects.

Draft and finalize purchase orders, procurement schedules, and supplier agreements in accordance with established guidelines and timelines.

You will be responsible for managing an approved vendor database and performing periodic assessments of supplier performance to ensure alignment with established standards.

Work alongside Project Managers, Designers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Teams to thoroughly assess and align on project requirements.

Responsibilities include facilitating the prompt arrival of materials and services at project sites to avert any potential delays.

Oversee inventory levels and arrange for stock replenishment as needed to maintain optimal supply levels.

Monitor procurement expenditures to verify alignment with approved budget allocations and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

Perform comprehensive market research to discover novel suppliers, explore alternative materials, and uncover potential cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to established company policies, operational procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Efficiently address and resolve disputes with suppliers, delivery complications, and other procurement-related obstacles.

Maintain precise procurement documentation, encompassing quotations, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and delivery notes.

Compile and present procurement reports, delivering consistent updates on procurement operations, supplier performance metrics, and cost control initiatives.

Assess potential procurement risks and develop actionable strategies to mitigate them, thereby safeguarding operational continuity and resilience.

Facilitate ongoing enhancements to procurement processes and systems to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Provide leadership and oversight to procurement team members as necessary.

Develop and nurture robust partnerships with suppliers and critical stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual benefit.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with at least five years of procurement experience, ideally within architectural, construction, interior fit-out, or workspace design sectors.

With a strong track record in sourcing and procuring essential construction materials, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and specialized project-related services, the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in these areas.

A comprehensive understanding of procurement methodologies, strategic vendor oversight, contract administration, and supply chain optimization is essential.

Proven expertise in securing favorable terms through contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and supplier agreement finalization.

A strong proficiency in budget management, cost control mechanisms, and procurement strategy development is required.

Demonstrates exceptional analytical prowess, proficiency in problem-solving, and sound decision-making abilities.

Skilled in effectively conveying ideas, fostering strong relationships, and adeptly handling stakeholder interactions.

Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently delivering results within stringent time constraints.

Maintaining a high standard of integrity, demonstrating professionalism, and exhibiting meticulous attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.

A strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel, along with procurement management systems, is essential.

Exceptional proficiency in organizing tasks and maintaining meticulous documentation is required.

Professional credentials like CAPS, CIP SMN, or other procurement-related certifications are highly advantageous.

Experience in a dynamic, project-driven environment is strongly preferred.
