In this role, you will research, pitch, and craft engaging news features from our Abuja headquarters. Ideal candidates possess a keen analytical approach, a dedication to journalistic excellence, and a mastery of the English language.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, candidates must possess a proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in newspaper reporting is required.
Must be prepared to reside in Abuja or make arrangements for relocation to the city.
Ability to distill complex news stories into engaging, well-structured narratives.
