The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in pediatric and/or adult patients. This position requires conducting consultations in clinical settings as well as delivering services through home visits across Lagos.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive set of duties, including managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency, while maintaining rigorous adherence to compliance standards and industry regulations. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive decision-making processes, allocate resources effectively, and optimize workflows for sustained growth. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to achieve measurable outcomes. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous development within the team to support long-term success.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions to identify potential disorders or areas requiring intervention.
Craft and execute tailored treatment strategies to address each client’s unique needs.
Conduct therapy sessions at both the clinic and patients’ homes.
Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping.
Deliver educational resources and assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to enhance understanding and facilitate informed decision-making.
Work collaboratively and efficiently alongside physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and team-based outcomes.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethical principles, and applicable regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Professional registration in the pertinent field is required where applicable.
Proven expertise in clinical practice, coupled with exceptional communication abilities and strong interpersonal competencies.
Demonstrated capacity to operate autonomously while effectively handling a varied and demanding workload.
Proficiency in pediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice is highly beneficial.
Capable of commuting across Lagos for on-site client visits.
