The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders affecting children and/or adults. Responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations and performing home visits as part of patient care within Lagos.
Oversee a comprehensive array of tasks encompassing strategic planning, project execution, and team leadership to ensure optimal operational performance. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to foster efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all functional areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and process optimization while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Lead and mentor staff by delegating responsibilities, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, address deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve organizational objectives.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions.
Design and execute customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and conditions.
Provide therapeutic services to clients both at the clinic and in their residential settings.
Accurately monitor and document patient progress, ensuring thorough and precise record-keeping at all times.
Deliver educational resources and assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive understanding and support throughout their journey.
Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care delivery.
Uphold professional integrity while ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory mandates.
Seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of three years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably holding a certification such as PMP or CAP. A strong foundation in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members. Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello is mandatory for task tracking and collaboration. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a comparable discipline is preferred.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Professional registration in a pertinent field is required when applicable.
Proven expertise in clinical practice, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities, is essential.
Demonstrates strong self-direction and the capacity to effectively oversee a varied and demanding workload.
Proficiency in pediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice settings is desirable.
Capable of traveling throughout Lagos to conduct home visits as needed.
