Job Description

Overseeing the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all capital projects are delivered with technical precision and full compliance with statutory requirements.

Proactively identify and resolve typical valve issues, including leaks, mechanical malfunctions, and signs of wear, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Provide assistance with the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning.

Assist with the assessment of valve performance to confirm compliance with customer specifications.

Conduct regular assessments of valves, including leak detection, pressure evaluations, and flow measurements, to ensure operational integrity and adherence to specified standards.

Assist in the maintenance, servicing, and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.

Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and AutoCAD/MATLAB, with demonstrated expertise in leveraging these tools for data analysis, presentation development, and technical design.

A strong grasp of electrical codes and safety regulations is essential.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in financial analysis or audit. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems are essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required, as collaboration with cross-functional teams is a key part of the role.

A Bachelor of Science degree or its equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.

With a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management, preferably within the oil and gas sector, the ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and proven leadership to deliver precise and efficient solutions.
