The ideal candidate will spearhead the identification and acquisition of new business prospects, enhance market penetration, cultivate high-impact strategic alliances, and accelerate revenue generation within solar and energy storage solutions.
Oversee and execute critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and performance across departments. Collaborate with senior management to align initiatives with long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct data-driven analysis, and present actionable insights to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies while maintaining robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
Secure new contracts and purchase orders to expand revenue streams and meet or exceed sales targets.
Enhance the dealer and distributor network of ACO Nigeria to drive greater market penetration across the region.
Skilled professionals will source, cultivate, and oversee qualified prospects in solar energy and energy storage solutions.
Develop and sustain a robust pipeline of commercially viable projects.
Explore and evaluate potential locations to identify optimal sites for REA, DARES, and Disco generation initiatives.
Forge strategic partnerships with domestic and global financiers to facilitate and advance project funding initiatives.
Interact collaboratively with essential stakeholders such as REA, Discos, government entities, non-governmental organizations, and development partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships and advance shared objectives.
Foster strategic partnerships with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors, solar project developers, and retail dealers to enhance collaboration and drive mutual growth.
Perform comprehensive market research and continuously track industry developments, competitor actions, and potential new prospects to inform strategic decision-making.
Compile comprehensive business development reports, provide timely market intelligence updates, and prepare detailed sales pipeline reports to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Ensure the integrity and precision of customer and prospect information maintained within the CRM system.
Seeking individuals with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a similar industry or role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and any additional certifications or specialized training are highly advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of meeting deadlines, working effectively in team environments, and adapting to evolving project demands.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a closely related field is required.
An MBA or an equivalent postgraduate qualification is highly advantageous.
Proven experience in sales spanning a decade or more, including at least five years specifically focused on the solar or broader renewable energy sector.
Consistently meets and exceeds established sales goals while successfully negotiating and finalizing major contractual agreements.
Holds an extensive network of professionals and organizations within the renewable energy industry.
Professionals with a proven track record in collaborating with Real Estate Agents (REA), Distribution Companies (Discos), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors, financial institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and international development agencies are encouraged to apply.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively, communicate clearly, deliver compelling presentations, and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrates exceptional commercial insight alongside a proven capability to cultivate and sustain strategic alliances.
