Lipline is in search of a highly innovative and driven Social Media Manager to strengthen our vibrant marketing and communications division.
As a Social Media Manager at Lipline, your responsibilities will involve crafting and implementing comprehensive social media strategies and content initiatives across our diverse platforms, including TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, spanning Rwanda, Pan-Africa, and global markets.
Your role will involve developing engaging content designed to captivate both local and global audiences, effectively highlighting Lipline’s transformative impact through creative and innovative storytelling approaches.
What You’ll Do
Develop captivating and memorable social media content for Lipline that resonates with audiences and encourages organic sharing while aligning with the distinct preferences and algorithms of each platform.
Develop engaging, educational content designed to advance our goal of creating the world’s first equitable logistics system accessible to all individuals.
Develop engaging, short-form video content tailored for our social media platforms in Rwanda and across Pan-Africa, encompassing TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Develop and execute expansive content initiatives, spanning collaborations with influential creators to producing scripted productions featuring our animated personas.
Collaborate effectively across departments to support the promotion of new product features, launches, and brand-driven initiatives.
Refine our short-form video strategy by leveraging quantitative analysis to drive decision-making, conducting numerous content experiments, and scaling the most effective ones.
Monitor social media platforms, emerging trends, and available tools to consistently refine and enhance strategic approaches.
Evaluate social media insights and performance metrics to refine content and strategy for maximum impact.
Oversee the organization’s social media accounts and digital footprint, which encompasses planning and publishing content as well as engaging with followers through timely responses.
What You’ll Bring
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, with a strong emphasis on video content and platforms prioritizing video-first strategies.
A robust video portfolio showcasing both long and short-form content, demonstrating high engagement metrics across platforms such as TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and/or LinkedIn.
Proficient in leveraging TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with a comprehensive grasp of each platform’s optimal strategies, algorithmic nuances, and evolving community dynamics.
Proficiency in video production is essential, requiring deep familiarity with in-app creator tools on various social platforms and adeptness with video editing software, including Adobe Premiere.
Attuned to emerging social trends well before they gain widespread traction, capable of rapid identification and immediate response to trends and memes to seize related opportunities.
Exceptional proficiency in copywriting and editing, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail, is essential for this role.
Proven capability in analyzing data and deriving practical, strategic recommendations from complex datasets.
Proficient in both verbal and written communication, along with the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships.
