Program, configure, and manage CNC machines in strict accordance with provided technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision and efficiency.
Analyze and comprehend architectural drawings, measurements, and operational guidelines to execute tasks accurately.
Monitor machine operations to verify consistent performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain high product quality standards.
Responsibilities include utilizing precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to evaluate the dimensional accuracy of completed components.
Routinely maintain, clean, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions, defects, and inefficiencies in production processes, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution.
Compile and update production records and activity logs to ensure accurate documentation of manufacturing activities and output.
Verify adherence to established quality, health, safety, and organizational standards.
Drive ongoing enhancements to boost productivity and operational efficiency through systematic improvement efforts.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, tools, or methodologies pertinent to the position, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating across departments and stakeholders. Additionally, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively is required. Familiarity with project management principles and tools is a plus. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued.
OND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification.
CNC Machining certification is an added advantage.
A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines within a manufacturing setting is required.
