Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Production Manager to supervise day-to-day shop floor operations and enhance production efficiency at our aluminum extrusion facility.
This position demands strong leadership to achieve established performance goals, enhance operational workflows, and enforce rigorous safety and quality protocols.
Oversee and execute core duties critical to the role’s success, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Implement strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and maintain operational excellence through meticulous planning and execution. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering collaboration to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Provide leadership and guidance to production processes throughout all shifts on a daily basis, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance to its peak efficiency.
Achieve production targets efficiently by minimizing waste and lowering unit costs.
Oversee the organization of shift schedules, the allocation of workforce resources, and the optimization of production line productivity.
Ensure unwavering adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance protocols throughout all shop floor operations.
Collaborate closely with the maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning departments to ensure seamless operations and alignment across teams.
Spearhead ongoing enhancements and ensure strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Offer guidance and support to operators through training and mentorship initiatives aimed at improving their skills, performance, and sense of accountability.
Maintain accurate documentation, develop comprehensive production reports, and ensure real-time performance dashboards remain up to date.
Monitor raw material usage and maintain precise inventory control to ensure efficient stock management.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in production supervision or plant operations is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a manufacturing setting.
Accomplished a consistent history of enhancing productivity, minimizing expenditures, and refining operational workflows to drive superior performance outcomes.
Proficiency in applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and related lean manufacturing techniques is required, along with practical implementation experience.
Exceptional leadership ability, adept coordination of team efforts, and excellent communication proficiency are essential.
Proficient in evaluating production data to derive actionable insights and drive informed decision-making processes is essential.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for candidates who possess experience using Odor.
Strong preference is given to candidates who are available to reside on-site in Aka.
