Deliver professional message and body treatment services to guests, incorporating specialized props, products, scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy techniques as needed. Conduct thorough pre-service consultations to evaluate individual needs while identifying any contraindications, such as allergies, hypertension, or pregnancy. Remain informed on emerging industry advancements and therapeutic modalities relevant to your area of expertise. Guide guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. Prepare and maintain the workstation, treatment room, and draping with meticulous attention to detail. Consistently check in with guests to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout each session. Actively promote and recommend spa and salon services, including retail products available in the Spa. Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of tools and equipment. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in the workstation and treatment room by promptly disposing of waste and soiled linens, as well as securing supplies and equipment at the conclusion of each shift. Adhere to established scheduling protocols to maintain efficiency and punctuality throughout the day. Address any instances of inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International’s standard operating procedures for inappropriate conduct, which may involve pausing or terminating a service and escalating the matter to a supervisor or manager. Ensure all required certifications and licenses for your service area remain current in accordance with regional regulations.

You will promptly report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management, in addition to completing all required safety training and certifications. Adherence to company policies and procedures is mandatory, and you must ensure your uniform and personal presentation meet professional standards while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding proprietary information and safeguarding company assets. It is essential to welcome and acknowledge guests according to company protocols, proactively anticipate and address their service needs, and express sincere gratitude upon their departure. All interactions must be conducted with clear and professional communication, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues and peers. You should be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended durations and possess the ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. The role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently, as well as demonstrating fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Additional reasonable job duties may be assigned at the discretion of supervisors.
