Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand market share within the industrial chemicals sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales, business development, key account management, and team leadership. This role requires an individual who understands industrial chemical products and has experience managing a sales team while delivering revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across key industries including manufacturing, oil & gas, FMCG, construction, paints & coatings, plastics, and water treatment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Lead negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close high-value deals.
Manage and grow key customer accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to management.
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the industrial chemicals industry.
Must have held a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, or similar leadership position for at least 2–3 years.
Proven experience managing and developing a sales team.
Strong understanding of industrial chemical products, applications, and market dynamics.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
