About the Role
The Senior Associate will report directly to the Impact Manager for Data, Systems, and Reporting, assuming a key operational role in deploying and sustaining the technological infrastructure that supports both the program and the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework.
This role encompasses the oversight of data collection and management systems, the generation of regular reports and dashboards, and the enhancement of data capabilities for partners and team members throughout the region.
The preferred applicant should possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with MEL data systems within an international development framework, coupled with robust technical expertise in data management and visualization tools, and a developing enthusiasm for AI-driven innovations.

MEL Technology and Reporting: You will oversee the implementation and management of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems to collect, analyze, and report on project data. This role requires proficiency in data visualization tools, statistical analysis software, and reporting frameworks to ensure accurate and timely insights. Key responsibilities include developing MEL frameworks, designing data collection tools, conducting performance assessments, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Facilitate the development, deployment, and continuous upkeep of the programmatic Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) technology platform—leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, Airtable, or comparable solutions—to optimize data collection, administration, and reporting capabilities.
Assist in refining and enhancing quarterly reporting frameworks while generating recurring reports and dynamic dashboards that highlight essential metrics and key performance indicators—such as financial KPIs—for diverse stakeholder groups.
Perform data analysis to generate actionable insights, collaborating closely with the Impact Manager responsible for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL).
Create compelling infographics and data visualizations by leveraging industry-standard software and tools to effectively communicate complex information.
Collaborate closely with the Finance department to ensure the accuracy and integration of financial data with impact metrics, particularly for reporting on Impact Linked Finance initiatives.

Program Data Management involves overseeing the collection, processing, storage, and analysis of data to support program operations, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires expertise in data management systems, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a strong understanding of data governance principles. Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
