We are looking for a forward-thinking and outcome-focused Online Branding Team Lead to oversee our Social Media Team. Candidates should possess 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in building and expanding brand visibility across digital channels, along with a history of delivering quantifiable results. This position demands an innovative problem-solver, a decisive leader, and an analytically minded strategist capable of aligning brand objectives with engaging online interactions and long-term growth.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and foster innovation. Monitor progress through regular evaluations, data analysis, and reporting ensuring continuous improvement and accountability. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, clients, and senior management to cultivate strong relationships and facilitate seamless communication. Additionally, mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce capable of meeting evolving business demands.

Direct the Social Media Team, providing leadership, supervision, and mentorship to ensure the execution of premium content and strategic campaigns.

Craft and execute cohesive social media strategies that are fully aligned with overarching business goals and objectives.

Oversee the brand’s voice, tone, and consistency across all digital channels to ensure a unified and cohesive presence.

Propel audience expansion, deepen engagement levels, and enhance conversion rates by executing inventive marketing initiatives.

Transform performance data into practical, results-driven recommendations that drive measurable improvement.

Develop and manage content calendars, execute paid campaigns, coordinate influencer partnerships, and oversee community engagement initiatives.

To ensure sustained brand relevance, actively track industry trends, assess competitor movements, and evaluate emerging platforms.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, Content, and Product to align on and maintain consistent brand representation.

Seeking a candidate with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant must possess at least five years of experience in a similar role and demonstrate expertise in budget oversight, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, along with certifications such as PMP or Agile being advantageous. Responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and fostering collaboration between departments to achieve organizational objectives.

With at least three to five years of hands-on experience in social media management and as a key contributor to the digital branding strategy for globally recognized brands—including MTN, UBA, Techno, and Infinite—you will bring a proven track record of driving online engagement and brand visibility.

A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

Proven ability to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and generate measurable revenue growth.

Demonstrates a proven track record in leading teams and managing personnel effectively.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing social media management tools and analytics platforms is essential.

Proven ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal means is essential.

Possesses a comprehensive grasp of content strategy, paid advertising, SEO best practices, and emerging digital trends.

Proficiency in analyzing analytics and converting data into informed strategic decisions is essential.

Results-driven, self-starter with a strong aptitude for organization and a relentless focus on achieving tangible outcomes.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, coupled with at least three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software, analytical tools, and data management systems is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results. Familiarity with project management methodologies and compliance with regulatory standards is highly desirable. Additionally, prior leadership experience or the ability to mentor junior team members is a significant advantage.
