This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project cost management, performance metrics, valuation processes, and subcontractor coordination for ongoing road construction projects.

The ideal candidate will handle quantity take-offs, perform site measurements, provide interim valuation support, track variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and prepare cost reports, all under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with at least three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail is crucial. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards is highly desirable.

A degree in Quantity Surveying at the B.Sc. or HND level is required for this position.

With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) practice, you will have worked extensively on road or civil infrastructure projects.

Experienced professionals with a robust background in measurement, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and valuation support are encouraged to apply.

Professionals with expertise in verifying subcontractor payments and overseeing variation management are encouraged to apply. The role demands a solid background in certifying payments to subcontractors and effectively handling variations to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Demonstrates a foundational understanding of cost reporting processes and project commercial oversight.

Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings to extract precise measurement data.

Candidates possessing NILS registration or those in the process of obtaining candidate membership will be viewed favorably.
