We are seeking a driven and technically adept NYC Corner to enhance our expanding technology solutions team as part of our Technical Operations department. This position blends hands-on desktop IT support with foundational Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring responsibilities in a hybrid work arrangement.
This role entails periodic physical interaction with hardware, including server rack installations and on-site technical assistance within our facility infrastructure, which is why we seek a Male Support Specialist to enhance the existing team composition.
What You Will Do
Monitor system performance and availability in real-time using our network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address uptime, alerts, and performance-related metrics.
First-Line Support professionals are responsible for diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network-related issues encountered by internal employees and external clients accessing systems remotely.
Incident Management responsibilities include documenting system alerts, promptly escalating critical network anomalies to senior engineers, and ensuring thorough tracking of issues until their complete resolution.
System Maintenance: Support the installation and setup of workstations, perform cable crimping and panel patching, and assist with the configuration of routers and switches.
Maintain precise documentation by regularly updating logs of daily network health reports and IT asset inventories.
What We Are Looking For
Currently serving as an NYC Corps Member, I am pursuing a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) in IKEA or its immediate surrounding areas.
Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
