Key Functions

Conduct transparent tendering procedures and oversee bid evaluations and negotiations with meticulous attention to detail.
Ensure strict adherence to established procurement guidelines, proactively mitigate potential risks, and maintain a state of continuous audit readiness.
Contract management responsibilities include collaborating with the Legal Unit to ensure timely contract awards, strictly adhering to mutually agreed and negotiated terms throughout the process.
Monitoring supplier performance involves assessing whether service delivery aligns with established contractual obligations to uphold quality and accountability.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational excellence, including managing day-to-day activities, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth. Drive performance metrics by monitoring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and fostering accountability across all departments. Collaborate with senior leadership to align business objectives with actionable plans, ensuring seamless execution and measurable outcomes. Develop and maintain robust policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous learning among team members. Serve as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to build and sustain strong partnerships. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while promoting sustainability and ethical business practices throughout all operations.
Deliver assistance to the Business Unit Head in formulating the company’s procurement strategies and constructing the annual procurement plan.
Assist in executing the Procurement department’s policies, systems, and procedures to ensure the Company operates efficiently.
Leads digital transformation initiatives and oversees e-procurement systems to streamline and enhance procurement operations through automation.
Ensure strict adherence to established procurement procedures while fostering awareness of these guidelines and confirming compliance.
Ensures a diverse and inclusive vendor sourcing process to enhance ESG data collection by verifying vendor diversity status, relevant certifications, and adherence to environmental best practices.
Deliver assistance to requisitioner in drafting comprehensive technical specifications for both goods and services, as well as detailed scope of work documentation for construction or renovation projects.
Work collaboratively with the requesting department to assess, draft, or revise standard tender documents—such as Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, Expressions of Interest, or Requests for Quotation—as necessary, ensuring alignment with specific requirements and applicable procurement thresholds.
Design or refine a comparative table template to evaluate financial and technical dimensions of bids, and prepare concise summaries of evaluation findings and tendering process reports for submission to and approval by relevant authorities.
The incumbent collaborates closely with the Business Unit Head to develop strategies for overseeing and facilitating all stages of negotiations with relevant stakeholders, which encompasses resolving disputes stemming from contractual agreements.
Maintain meticulously organized digital procurement records encompassing solicitations, proposals, evaluations, award documentation, official contracts, and relevant correspondence for all procurement activities.
Serve as the primary contact for detecting and tracking procurement-related risks within designated risk registers while offering expert counsel on all pertinent procurement issues.
Collaborate with the legal team to validate that all contractual agreements undergo thorough review, ensuring they are free from liabilities that could adversely affect the company.
We seek a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Strong proficiency in data analysis, project management, and exceptional communication skills are essential. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, are also required. Additionally, prior experience with budgeting, strategic planning, or regulatory compliance may be necessary depending on the role.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is required.
A minimum of three years of practical procurement experience within either a public sector or financial institution is required.
Have a proven track record in utilizing e-Procurement systems for vendor sourcing and assessment activities.
Skilled in identifying, assessing, and engaging suitable vendors through comprehensive sourcing, rigorous prequalification, and seamless onboarding processes.
Experience in managing high-value, complex procurement programs across infrastructure, health, and IT projects is highly desirable. Possession of relevant certifications, such as the CAPS Diploma or an equivalent qualification in public procurement, would further strengthen your application.
Proven proficiency to advanced competencies in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Demonstrates adeptness in leveraging digital procurement platforms with a high degree of proficiency, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of these systems to support procurement activities.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and lead teams with exceptional interpersonal acumen.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical capabilities are essential for this role.
