Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring deliverables meet established standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives, resolve challenges, and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency. Monitor progress through regular updates, performance metrics, and milestone tracking to guarantee timely and high-quality outcomes. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing transparent reporting maintaining alignment and accountability. Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing priorities to sustain operational continuity and project success.

Create comprehensive technical blueprints for executing pipe installation activities, encompassing both onshore and offshore environments.

Determine the most suitable installation techniques, such as S-lay, J-lay, or trenchless methods, to ensure optimal pipeline deployment.

Ensure all work adheres to established engineering standards, client specifications, and applicable regulatory codes, including API, ASHE, and ISO guidelines.

Responsible for managing non-destructive testing (NDT), hydrostatic testing, and supplementary quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes.

Perform comprehensive risk assessments and devise strategic mitigation plans, with a particular emphasis on hazardous or confined environments.

Develop and deliver comprehensive progress reports, detailed method statements, and precise technical documentation for review by stakeholders.

Diagnose and address technical issues encountered on-site, such as alignment discrepancies, depth regulation discrepancies, or complications in the welding process.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be a registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (USE) or hold a valid Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (CORE) certification.

7+ years of hands-on experience in pipeline construction or installation projects.

Demonstrates expertise in overseeing substantial or intricate initiatives, with a particular emphasis on offshore or cross-border pipeline management.

Professional experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors or major infrastructure firms is typically advantageous.
