About the Role
We seek a proficient Full Stack Developer with extensive expertise in PHP (Laravel) to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will be tasked with developing, sustaining, and enhancing web applications to ensure optimal user experiences and high-performing backend systems.
This is a six-month contract-based position with potential for renewal and conversion contingent upon performance.
Oversee a range of critical duties including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently, maintaining high standards of performance and accountability. Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving measures while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Lead and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous growth and professional development. Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate progress, challenges, and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
Engineer scalable web applications leveraging the Laravel framework, encompassing design, development, rigorous testing, and seamless deployment phases.
Leverage third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external service integrations to enhance system functionality and ensure seamless connectivity across platforms.
Develop and optimize interactive, responsive front-end components using cutting-edge JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
Oversee the design, implementation, and refinement of database architectures, ensuring efficient data management and seamless migration processes while maximizing system performance through strategic optimization techniques.
Design and develop robust, scalable solutions that guarantee peak performance and long-term maintainability.
To ensure exceptional user experiences, work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to achieve cohesive and intuitive product delivery.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and systematic refactoring of existing codebases to enhance overall performance and fortify security measures.
Analyze, resolve, and enhance system performance through systematic troubleshooting, debugging, and targeted upgrades as required.
Conduct rigorous code inspections, uphold established coding guidelines, and verify compliance with industry-standard best practices.
Perform comprehensive technical feasibility evaluations to determine the viability of new product features and enhancements.
Monitor advancements in technology and take initiative in suggesting enhancements to bolster product scalability and user satisfaction.
Engage actively in the formulation of technical strategies and provide valuable input to shape the product roadmap from a development standpoint.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required, along with equivalent hands-on experience.
Requires a minimum of two years of hands-on professional experience in full stack web development.
Highly skilled in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS, with deep expertise in these technologies.
Proficiency in Vue.js and/or React.js frameworks is required.
Proficient in software architecture principles, security best practices, and deployment pipeline methodologies.
Proficient in developing and implementing unit tests to ensure software reliability and functionality.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or comparable systems, as well as expertise in containerization technologies like Docker, would be advantageous.
Possesses a comprehensive grasp of RESTful API principles, microservices architecture frameworks, and industry-standard web security protocols.
Proficiency in problem-solving, debugging, and communication is essential, along with the ability to analyze complex issues and convey technical concepts effectively.
Demonstrates strong capability to operate autonomously while delivering well-reasoned technical solutions under demanding, time-sensitive conditions.
