The OOH Sales Executive—ideally a female candidate to promote gender balance—plays a pivotal role in expanding revenue by uncovering, cultivating, and finalizing sales prospects within billboard advertising, LED displays, transit media, and additional outdoor advertising channels. This position encompasses responsibilities such as identifying new business leads, maintaining relationships with current clients, crafting tailored proposals, negotiating contractual terms, and overseeing the flawless execution of campaigns to meet or exceed client specifications. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of Nigeria’s advertising ecosystem, possess strong connections within agency networks, and exhibit expertise in direct-to-brand marketing strategies.

Oversee and execute essential duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, streamline processes, and enhance productivity. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support business growth and sustainability. Additionally, provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce.

Proactively seek out and cultivate relationships with potential clients across diverse sectors such as brands, agencies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), political campaigns, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Build and sustain a robust pipeline of prospective advertisers.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with advertising agencies and brand managers.

Craft comprehensive media proposals, engage in strategic rate negotiations, and successfully finalize contractual agreements.

Collaborate closely with the operations team to coordinate site bookings and ensure the seamless execution of campaigns.

Monitor campaign performance metrics and deliver comprehensive proof-of-posting and execution documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Monitor weekly revenue against established targets and generate comprehensive sales reports to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of performance metrics.

Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor actions to gather and deliver strategic market intelligence.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in specific technologies or methodologies is essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are also required. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations is advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, mass communication, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with two to five years of experience in advertising sales, media sales, or out-of-home (OOH) marketing, with a preference for those familiar with the Nigerian market.

Leverages an extensive network of connections across advertising agencies and brand marketing teams to facilitate collaboration and opportunities.

Consistently surpasses established sales objectives, demonstrating a strong ability to meet or exceed predetermined performance benchmarks.

Proven ability to negotiate effectively and deliver compelling presentations.

Proficient knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing outdoor advertising in Nigeria, including guidelines from the Lagos State Advertising Agency (LASSA), the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APRON), and relevant state-level authorities.

Possesses strong skills in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
