Job Summary
The Collaboration & Microsoft Product Support Officer administers, supports, and enhances the bank’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem and collaboration platforms to ensure seamless functionality. This role guarantees the continuous availability of key collaboration tools—such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive—while delivering technical assistance and training to employees throughout the organization.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key operational tasks, ensuring compliance with established policies, and maintaining high standards of efficiency. Daily duties include coordinating team activities, managing workflow processes, and resolving any operational challenges that may arise. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvements where necessary. This position also requires meticulous attention to detail in reporting, documentation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential to drive productivity and foster a collaborative work environment.
Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and the Power Platform.
Offer proficient L2/L3 technical assistance for Microsoft collaboration solutions, guaranteeing prompt resolution of incidents and service requests.
Oversee the operational integrity, responsiveness, and accessibility of Microsoft 365 services while introducing preventative strategies to minimize service disruptions.
Oversee the administration of user accounts, licenses, permissions, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 tenant environment.
Design and develop SharePoint sites, Teams workspaces, and OneDrive configurations, ensuring alignment with established business requirements and objectives.
Partner with security and compliance teams to implement and maintain Microsoft 365 data governance frameworks, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and conditional access controls.
Prepare detailed documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, procedures, and support workflows, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders. Maintain and update these materials regularly to reflect any changes in configurations or operational guidelines.
Deliver training programs, awareness initiatives, and adoption drives aimed at enhancing proficiency in the utilization of collaboration tools among users.
Assess and propose new Microsoft features, updates, and integrations to drive productivity improvements throughout the organization.
Oversee Microsoft 365 tenant configurations, ensure policies and licensing remain compliant with IT governance standards, and implement necessary updates to maintain alignment.
Collaborate with Microsoft support and third-party vendors to address critical incidents and enhance service delivery through strategic improvement initiatives.
Offer expert assistance for hybrid environments that integrate on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure AD systems.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. Demonstrates expertise in Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft’s security and compliance solutions.
Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities specifically for Microsoft collaboration platforms. Exhibits clear communication skills and the ability to deliver effective training sessions. Proficient in managing multiple support tickets and projects concurrently. Possesses familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administrative tasks.
A valid Microsoft 365 certification—specifically the Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Messaging Administrator credential—is an essential requirement. Additional consideration will be given to candidates holding Azure certifications.
A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 or similar collaboration platforms within an enterprise setting is required. Prior to work in financial services or other regulated industries would be particularly beneficial.
