As an ICT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve verifying that software applications and computer systems comply with stringent performance, reliability, and security benchmarks. You will develop comprehensive testing protocols, identify system defects, and work closely with development teams to address issues proactively before final product release.
Oversee a range of critical responsibilities central to the role, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Provide strategic guidance to enhance operational efficiency, foster collaboration across departments, and maintain high standards of accountability. Monitor progress through regular evaluations, address challenges proactively, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and adherence to policies. Support the development of innovative strategies to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Design and Implement: Create and carry out detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, encompassing both manual and automated methodologies.
Defect Tracking: Discover, document, and monitor software defects or performance issues by leveraging tracking tools such as Jira to ensure systematic resolution and accountability.
Ensure ICT systems consistently adhere to established internal policies, recognized industry standards, and applicable regulatory mandates.
Partner with software developers and various cross-functional teams to identify the underlying causes of issues and validate solutions before deployment.
Evaluate system performance, load-bearing capacity, and overall integrity across diverse operational conditions.
