Conduct and oversee Technical Site Surveys (TSS) for In-Building Solutions (IBS) projects.
Prepare comprehensive site survey reports, including RF analysis, coverage assessment, and link budget calculations using appropriate RF planning tools.
Design passive, active, and hybrid Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) tailored for commercial, residential, and public structures, ensuring optimal signal coverage and performance across diverse environments.
Design radio frequency (RF) system architectures with a focus on strategic antenna positioning, efficient cable management, and careful equipment selection to achieve optimal network coverage.
Develop, revise, and ensure the integrity of architectural floor plans, space layouts, and radio frequency (RF) design schematics utilizing AutoCAD, Vision, or comparable design software solutions.
Oversee the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of RF equipment.
Execute corrective and preventive maintenance procedures on IBS/DAS infrastructure to uphold optimal network performance and reliability.
Oversee the collaboration of contractors, technicians, and subcontractors throughout project execution and maintenance phases to ensure seamless operations and adherence to timelines.
Perform comprehensive site acceptance testing and quality assurance inspections to validate system functionality and compliance with specified requirements.
Responsibilities include evaluating and interpreting RF test results, such as VSWR and DTF reports.
Diagnose and rectify faults within RF systems, address coverage discrepancies, and restore optimal performance levels.
Ensure adherence to customer specifications, industry norms, and applicable health and safety protocols.
Develop comprehensive project documentation, technical reports, as-built drawings, and maintenance records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Partner with RF Planning, Transmission, and Project Management teams to guarantee seamless project execution and timely delivery of objectives.
