What You’ll Be Doing

As a Brand Designer, you will play a key role in defining how Hugo presents itself across digital, physical, and internal interactions. You will collaborate across brand, marketing, employer branding, events, and sales initiatives to develop polished, impactful creative that aligns with the company’s dynamic identity.

Individuals possessing a firm grasp of graphic design principles, a keen sense of brand identity and visual composition, and the capacity to seamlessly transition between creative conceptualization and hands-on production within a dynamic setting are well-suited for this position.

We seek a seasoned Brand & Marketing Design professional to craft compelling visual identities and strategic marketing materials that elevate our brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, typography, and brand consistency across digital and print mediums. Responsibilities include developing cohesive brand guidelines, designing marketing collateral, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and a deep understanding of current design trends are essential. Evolve and sustain Hugo’s visual identity across a diverse array of channels and initiatives.

Convert strategic concepts and communication into compelling, visually compelling creative content.

We provide assistance in the development, execution, and optimization of campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and brand messaging. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that engages target audiences across various channels. Responsibilities include content creation, performance analysis, and recommendation of data-driven improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach. A strong understanding of digital marketing trends, SEO principles, and analytics tools is required, along with excellent writing and project management skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates creativity, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset to drive measurable impact.

Partner with marketing, communications, people operations, and revenue teams to develop and execute campaigns and product launches.

Provide strategic support for event branding initiatives and oversee the creative production process for conferences, brand activations, and partnership collaborations.

Experience

You must possess the requisite qualifications to be considered for this position, including a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Additionally, a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development or a closely related discipline is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.

A minimum of five years of professional experience in graphic design, brand design, or visual communication is required.

Professional portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital design, and marketing materials.

Proficiency in fast-paced or agency-based work environments is highly advantageous.

Skilled in creating designs tailored for both digital and print mediums.

Proficient in a wide range of technical and interpersonal skills, candidates must demonstrate expertise in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective communication. A strong ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams is essential, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Requires expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
