We seek a seasoned, high-impact Senior Medical Sales Representative to spearhead, energize, and oversee a top-tier sales team, propelling business expansion within designated territories.

Job Summary

The Senior Medical Sales Representative will spearhead the promotion of the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and other essential stakeholders.

The successful applicant should demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, outstanding communication capabilities, and a demonstrated history of success in pharmaceutical sales and team leadership.

Oversee critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives through meticulous execution of assigned tasks. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within the team or department. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to foster seamless communication and drive cohesive project outcomes. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to uphold standards of excellence and mitigate risks. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous growth.

Responsibilities include marketing and selling the organization’s pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Foster professional connections with healthcare practitioners and influential decision-makers to ensure collaborative partnerships.

Direct, oversee, and guide a team of medical sales representatives to ensure attainment of sales objectives.

Design and execute targeted sales strategies tailored to designated territories to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Oversee team performance consistently, offering targeted coaching, training, and assistance as needed.

Compile comprehensive sales reports, conduct thorough market intelligence assessments, analyze competitor strategies, and deliver regular performance updates.

Facilitate the planning and execution of medical presentations, product introductions, conferences, and promotional initiatives.

Evaluate potential avenues for growth and extend the organization’s market presence to capitalize on emerging prospects.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

Minimum requirement includes four years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical sector.

Requires a minimum of two years of demonstrated leadership or oversight in a sales team capacity.

Dynamic leadership abilities, exceptional negotiation capabilities, and polished interpersonal skills are essential.

Skilled in delivering clear, persuasive, and engaging communications and presentations.

Demonstrates a consistent track record of surpassing sales objectives and achieving goals beyond established benchmarks.
